Transvalor and Elysium are proud to announce the release of CADdoctor TRANSVALOR Edition; scheduled to be released summer 2017. The custom edition of CADdoctor is designed specifically for Transvalor users to improve data quality and interoperability.

SOUTHFIELD, MI, February 14, 2017—Elysium Inc., a leading global interoperability solution provider, hosted their first global user and partner summit in Huntington Beach, California this January.  Attendees included a select group of engineering-driven organizations, many of which are engaged in implementing Model-Based Definition (MBD) for all-digital manufacturing processes.

CADValidator functionality highlighted

Model-Based Definition (MBD) enables the automation of 3D data capture and comparison capabilities. Highly robust Elysium software, such as the CADValidator module in the ASFALIS product, enables downstream processes to leverage fully vetted MBD data. While automating form-fit-function changes, CADValidator also captures presentation and representation changes that are not otherwise encapsulated in drawing-centric processes. Elysium’s CADValidator ensures that models translated from other systems or from previous releases of the same system are identical. It also validates CAD data for short- and long-term storage and retrieval so that any derivative models do not compromise quality. CADValidator assures that derivatives with long production lives remain faithful to their originals, which is critical when the originating CAD system has gone through many releases or is no longer available.

Renault Sport Formula One Team’s Ian Goddard was one of the presenters at the California summit. “Elysium software is critical to product development within our Formula One racecar program,” said Goddard, Head of Technical Partnerships and the engineer in charge of computer-aided engineering (CAE). “We collaborate with other partners like Infiniti, working with the Infiniti European Technical Centre to explore our common reliance on Elysium products. The development cycles of our F1 car center on tight race schedules and require very fast exchange of data without manually stopping to check geometry or question manufacturing process instructions. Our timescales are so critical that a single data issue could mean an important upgrade would miss its race debut but, with the support of Elysium, this has never occurred.

“Whoever originates the data in our supply chain, it has to read and perform the same for every expert in our network—our data is not allowed to have a pit stop for repair and tuning!”

Elysium to Release CADfeature 14.0-Support for Associative Drawings in SOLIDWORKS Developed with Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS API Team

HAMAMATSU, Japan—May 10, 2016—Elysium, a leading global provider of data translation software, announces the release of CADfeature 14.0. CADfeature is a feature based translation system that offers complete design intent with the scalability to address the needs of individual designers or globe-spanning enterprises. To answer the demands from Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS users, Elysium has enhanced the CADfeature product family to include the support for associative drawing creation in SOLIDWORKS.

Elysium has been supporting many migration projects at world-leading enterprises with its unique set of tools to support advanced and sophisticated interoperability requirements. Those strategic migration projects have been completed to provide significant enhancements to the CADfeature platform. Elysium to Launch a New Solution to Allow Seamless Data Flow in Multi-PLM/PDM Environment – Connecting Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and Aras Innovator

HAMAMATSU, Japan—Feb. 29, 2016—Elysium, a leading global provider of data translation software, announces a new product called “Elysium xPDM for Aras” that will revolutionize the exchange of product information between Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform, a collaborative business experience platform whose 3D design, analysis, simulation and information intelligence applications drive innovation processes across all disciplines, and the Aras Innovator PLM platform from Aras. As the only solution provider authorized by both Dassault Systèmes and Aras, Elysium has developed an integration connector for data exchange between the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and Aras Innovator.

Using the xPDM infrastructure provided by Dassault Systèmes and the open Web services APIs in Aras, the connector enables data to flow smoothly and securely between the two systems. For example, a company using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform’s applications for 3D design and Aras Innovator for other processes such as manufacturing and supply chain operations can take advantage of Elysium’s high fidelity 3D data translation technology and the xCAD infrastructure from Dassault Systèmes to ensure accurate 3D CAD data are available to everyone across the organization using Aras.

3D Geometry Healing Technology Added to the Altair Partner Alliance-Elysium has joined the program, enabling CADdoctor on the HyperWorks platform

TROY, Mich. and HAMAMATSU, Japan – July 7, 2015 – Altair and Elysium Co. Ltd. today announced that Elysium has joined the Altair Partner Alliance (APA), adding its 3D geometry healing and translation software CADdoctor. CADdoctor understands multiple Computer Aided Design (CAD) formats and Product Data Quality (PDQ) criteria to easily translate and repair data as well as simplify geometry to reduce file size for more efficient Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis.

CADdoctor is equipped with a standalone user interface, which applies the built-in geometry healing module, Data Exchange Kernel (DEK). DEK can understand the characteristics, representations, tolerances, etc. of various CAD systems to guarantee an accurate translation to support the data preprocess for CAE analysis.

It can also equalize the polygon elements without sacrificing the geometry outline and compare CAD files before and after engineering changes, translations, etc. with a visual color map accompanied by the necessary numerical values.

Elysium and Dassault Systèmes officially complete contract for CATIA V6 translation

HAMAMATSU, Japan, 2 April, 2013—Elysium Co., Ltd., a leading global provider of design data exchange software, today announced the conclusion of a development partner contract for CATIA V6 with Dassault Systèmes.

Elysium enters into contract with all major CAD vendors to handle various CAD data. To support translation with CATIA V6, the agreement between Elysium and Dassault Systèmes has officially concluded. (*) Per this agreement, Elysium becomes one of very few partners that can develop CATIA V6-related products under official approval of Dassault Systèmes.

By adding support for CATIA V6 to Elysium translation products under the technical cooperative framework of Dassault Systèmes, Elysium is able to provide high quality 3D data translation with the quick ability to support new versions as released.

All CATIA V6 data is stored in Dassault Systèmes’ PDM (Product Data Management) system “ENOVIA”, which means access to ENOVIA is a prerequisite to handling the V6 data within. Direct translation of CATIA V6 data stored in ENOVIA is realized to be possible by using “XCAD” –a conversion platform of CATIA V6. Elysium is one of only two translation vendors in the world to complete an agreement with Dassault Systems with license to develop a 3D data translator by utilizing “XCAD”.

For a robust CATIA V6 translation, Elysium uses “XCAD” to convert various elements of CATIA V6 while utilizing its current technical know-how that has been achieved with experience and history of translation with CATIA V4 and V5. Elysium plans to begin selling CATIA V6-related translation products in June of 2013.
